B1The subjunctive is the mood of wishes, doubts and feelings. The easiest door in is ojalá (“I hope”): after it, the verb goes in the subjunctive. Start with the forms, then see them in real sentences.

Cómo se forma

  • hablo → hable, hables, hable, hablemos, hablen hablar
  • como → coma, comas, coma, comamos, coman comer
  • tengo → tenga, tengas, tenga, tengamos, tengan tener
