What does «hablamo horita» mean in Dominican Spanish?
hablamo horita
we'll talk later
| Meaning | we'll talk later |
|---|---|
| Standard Spanish | hablamos luego |
| Register | Colloquial |
«Ya me voy, hablamo horita.»
I'm off, we'll talk later.
Two things in two words: «horita» means LATER, not right now — could be in an hour, could be tomorrow. And «hablamo» is «hablamos» with the final «s» dropped, which is how it sounds when spoken.
