Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar tools (local storage) work the same way. This page lists every one the website uses and when.

1. A normal visit: no cookies

When you visit, read the slides or play activities without signing in, the website does not set any cookies. Our visit counter, Koko Analytics, runs on our own server and does not use cookies.

2. Strictly necessary (no consent needed)

3. Saved in your browser (local storage)

Your language, sound settings, the activities you save without an account, your name in games and whether you allowed YouTube videos are kept only in your browser. They are not sent to us unless you save them to your account. You can delete them by clearing your browser’s site data.

4. Only if you ask for them

  • YouTube videos: activities with a video show a “Load the video” button first. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press it; then YouTube (Google) may set cookies such as YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA and receive your IP address. Your choice is remembered in your browser; clear the site data to undo it.

5. Advertising

Some pages may show Google AdSense ads to visitors who are not signed in. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and personalised ads only with your consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s consent message asks you first. You can manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, signing in and paying will not work.

7. Changes and contact

We update this page when the cookies change. Questions: interacctivespanishbooks@gmail.com.
